On the homepage, find the package you'd like to book. Under the description of that package there is a "Book this Appointment," button. Clicking that button will take you to another website, which will guide you through the rest of the process.
You do not need to pay upfront to book online. We'll need your name, phone number, and address to complete a booking. If you'd like an emailed reminder, leave that with us as well.
If the internet is difficult for you, don't worry! Give us a call at (385) 249-3261.
We accept debit/credit cards, Venmo, and cash. Venmo is our favorite, but we'll take whatever's easiest for you. If you are a school, business, or church, we'd be happy to take a check.
Please text/call us 24 hours before your appointment.
We don't. Tuning a player piano requires delicate parts to be moved, and we haven't been trained on how to disassemble, reassemble, or repair player pianos.
Yes! Please give us a call at (385) 249-3261 to pay over the phone. This is probably the easiest method to prepay, but we can arrange to send a payment link via email as well.
Ideally you should tune your piano 1-2 times per year, even if you aren't playing all that often. The secret to keeping your piano in tune is consistency.
Nope. Digital pianos are a completely different world compared to their acoustic counterparts. We know what we're doing with an acoustic piano, but not so much with digital pianos. You'll have better luck looking for a repair specialist with your piano's manufacturer.
We do not.
We both worked for the company contracted by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for a number of years. We tuned over 2,500 pianos each calendar year.
Three! We're really small, but we're proud of what we've become.
No.
Please see our home page for a list of cities we service. We also have a map on the home page which shows our travel boundaries visually. We do not make special exceptions to travel outside our travel boundaries for personal pianos. We will do our best to cancel 24 hours prior to your appointment if you book out of bounds. If you are a church or school, please give us a call! We're willing to make arrangements with churches and school districts.
We get this question a lot, and it's super difficult to answer. In short, it depends and we'll have to take a look.
We know this isn't the answer most people want, and since we pride ourselves in having transparent, flat-rate prices, it's hard for us to give an ambiguous answer. For ballpark estimates, most keys take about 20-30 minutes each to repair. That translates into $20-30 per key.
More quiet = more better. While we do have a tuner, we tune 2/3 of your piano with our ears. If we can't hear, then we can't tune. Our tuner also uses it's "ears," so if it can't hear either, then you can expect the quality of tuning to drop.
We're pretty good though, and our tuner mostly listens to just the piano and ignores the rest. However, talking quietly, turning off the TV, and sending children outside to play is appreciated.
Absolutely! We appreciate some quiet and space, but feel free to watch. It's kinda fun seeing the inside of your piano.
Yup! Repairs are guaranteed for one month, and tunings are guaranteed for two weeks. That being said, there are some restrictions.
1- In order to qualify for the repair guarantee, the piano must remain in the location it was serviced, and it must be used as a piano. So if you move across the state and your kids use they keyboard as an arts and crafts table, you won't qualify for the guarantee.
2- Pianos that are within +/- 15 cents of A440 reference pitch will qualify for the guarantee. Anything outside of that range is considered excessively sharp/flat and will necessitate a pitch raise. Pitch raises are designed to improve tuning stability and tuning longevity, but it's not a perfect science. The nature of the piano is something we can't really guarantee.
